The Carbon-Tac Safety Toe is about 20% thinner and about 30% lighter than a standard composite toe cap, yet it provides the same level of ASTM 2413-11 impact and compression protection without the bulk or weight. Made with a rough-out suede and 1280D nylon upper and nylon shank for torsional rigidity and stability, this boot lays down confidence and attitude with every step. And a full-length CMEVA midsole and OrthoLite X-40 foot bed give you plenty of support to get you through even the longest days. The Cable Hiker is built on the proven platform of the Speed 3.0 Urban outsole for maximum traction on manmade surfaces and oil- and slip-resistance. Add to the mix 5.11 SlipStream low-friction odor-control lining and Kevlar panels, and you’ll want this boot in your arsenal.
